When U2 appeared in early 1982 in this Madison, Wisconsin club they were not yet a big thing playing stadiums. I had never heard them, but after this performance of early tunes such as "Gloria", "I Will Follow" and witnessing The Edge's guitar sound for the first time, I had a good feeling they had a big future ahead.
