KTVU news reporter Gary Kauf’s Live TV News Production class has been an exciting experience. Together with Dominic Bonavolonta’s Directing class, we will be producing a half hour news show every week.
The ONTV broadcasts can be viewed online. I was a co-anchor on our first show of September 27, and as a result have decided to smile more and be a happy Hank next time.
In making the “Campus Of The Future” package, which is part of the October 4th show, there was a lot to do: shooting the video, getting the writing worked out, recording voice over, editing the audio and video in After Effects and Final Cut. It was quite a work out, and yet in the end very rewarding.
